About Brian
I have been working in renovation and carpentry for over 10 years. In that time I have learned that a fine end result has as much to do with preparation and communication as with the hands.
That is why I work on one project at a time and am your point of contact myself — from the first conversation to the handover. You know who is in your house and who to call.

From stripping a house back to the complete handover. Knocking through walls, floors, partitions, ceilings and finishing — all in one pair of hands, on a fixed schedule.
The real handwork. Window frames, doors, stairs, fitted wardrobes and bespoke furniture, made and installed to the millimetre.
More space without moving house. From a dormer to a full extension, including coordination with the structural engineer and the council.

How I work

We walk through the house together and talk over your plans. I think along about what is possible, what is sensible and what it realistically costs.
You get a clear quote: what happens, which materials, what schedule and what amount. No small print.
I work on one project at a time. Every week you know where we stand, and you keep the same point of contact.
We go through the work together. The job is only finished once you are happy — and that includes leaving the place tidy.
